Musicians For Farmers, Saturday 3 Nov 07, at the North Street Church in Halifax, is a benefit event for Heliotrust - an EAC affiliate - working for farmland conservation, biodiversity, sustainable farming practices, and conserving and imparting rural wisdom.
Saturday November 3rd 2007, North Street Church 5657 North Street, Halifax, 6pm-12am $15 Cover - includes locally-sourced food and donation to Heliotrust. All farmers get in for free of course! Delicious meal by Terroir Local Source Catering. BYO cutlery for dinner and cups for hot cider! An all-ages event
Speakers on a variety of issues, performances by The Raging Grannies, members of comedy troupe Pinicface, a vegetable puppet show, and a host of musical performances including The Smokin' Contraband, Michael Peter Schimp, Geoff Kennedy, Niki Veltmeyer, Mary-Grace Koile, and many more! It's harvest time, come celebrate and show your love for farmers! |
