If you would like to contribute information to local food dot, please Register as a Participant.

This will place you in the local food dot contact directory, and allows us to identify--and be responsible for--the source of contributed material. The directory also provides a useful means for participants to contact each other, across a range of interest groups. Please note that listings submitted for advertising purposes will not be published.

First, use the Register link at the bottom of the Login Form menu on the left. This first stage of registration will establish your Name, Username, and Email Address in local food dot.

Second, on your next login, you will see a Participant Menu item Register As Participant, which gives your directory listing form.

When you register, please give only the contact information you are comfortable posting on a public site. One piece of reliable contact information is the minimum for a useful listing. We encourage you to include further information in your listing that will help others understand your role in the Nova Scotia local food movement.

When you submit the form, our system administrator will validate your entry in the contact directory, and establish your permission to author new content.

The next time you login, your Participant Menu will show a Submit Content link, and the Your Details link will have a sub link to your contact directory listing, which you can edit at any time.  We aim to have new participant registrations validated within 24 hours. There will also be a link to Tips & Tools for participants: how to use the site.
